With four decades of software integration and airline experience SSI knows that all airlines are in the business to safely transport their customers from origin to destination in a safe, efficient and consistent manner.

The approach taken to accomplish this goal, however, varies significantly among carriers. Each one has its own philosophy, methodology, and technology in delivering its product and executing its operations. SSI tailors the installation of our software to fit the way each carrier operates by closely teaming up with the customer’s employees who possess the expertise and the knowledge base on how the carrier operates.

SSI approaches all projects as joint development efforts with our clients. We strive to establish an excellent working relationship with client’s personnel. This relationship encompasses all aspects of the project including the users, the project management team and the technical staff.

We concentrate our collaboration on three areas of the project:

System Integration

SSI integrates with existing infrastructure. The true value of the system can only be realized if it is well integrated into the overall operation. Invariably, the carrier is the best source of knowledge when it comes to existing systems and infrastructure that SSI’s System needs to be integrated. With over 30 years experience developing airline operational systems and integrating them with many carriers’ infrastructure, provides SSI a definitive advantage in providing integrated solutions.

Business Rule Adaptation

The emphasis here is in the definition of business rules and the priorities that any give client uses under various operational conditions. Generating improved solutions can only be helpful if these solutions comply with the Airline’s methodology.

User Interface Adaptation

A large portion of the system’s effectiveness is derived from the fact that it concentrates large amounts of data collected from many sources into a single desktop application and ensures that each user has complete view of any and all parts of the operation required to ensure they are making the best holistic decisions. SSI works closely with the client’s users to ensure that the presentation of all pertinent information is done in the best possible way for their needs.

SSI employs an incremental approach to the design, customizations, installation, and verification of the system components

We believe that this is a very effective method to ensure the success of a system installation since it allows users to test and give feedback on the system rapidly and tends to uncover problems early.

SSI brings a uniquely qualified team to this project. Since our inception, we have been at the forefront in the field of client/server based graphical applications for the airline industry. Our systems are designed around server processes which interfaces with multiple data sources. A central server, in turn feeds client applications with all relevant information. Our systems, including any of their modules are developed using POSIX compliant, ANSI standard C++ language and are both platform independent and easily maintainable. Our applications employ the industry standard interfaces to provide a powerful User Interface and graphical presentation tool. This architecture has tremendous advantages when it comes to scalability since it allows easy upgrades to more powerful machines and to additional user workstations.

A single application for managing each departments task and responsibility

The OMS Client interface, provide all users a single application for managing each departments tasks and responsibility. By adding proven modules and customizing them to uniquely fit a client’s requirements, it will provide the best solution possible. Our system have interfaces for flight schedule & movement, aircraft routing, maintenance and the crew. Adding connectivity to client’s systems will complete the integration needed for system installation and will significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness with which the airline operates.
